This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit lostrios.ch, why we process it, and what rights you have. It is written for compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG). We do not currently tailor this policy to other jurisdictions (e.g. EU/GDPR).
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical access data for security and stability purposes (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of access, pages requested). This data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website, and is not merged with other data sources.
Swizzonic
The Contact page includes a form asking for your first name, last name, email address, a subject, and a message. When submitted, this data is processed by a script running on our own web server, which emails it directly to us so we can respond to your inquiry. No third-party form provider is involved — the data goes from your browser to our server and then into our own inbox.
We also briefly store a rate-limiting flag in your browser session (via a session cookie) to prevent automated spam submissions. This is deleted automatically when your browser session ends.
The footer includes a newsletter signup field. This feature is currently disabled ("Coming soon") and does not collect or store any email addresses yet. This section will be updated with details on the mailing provider and opt-in/opt-out process before the feature goes live.
We use one strictly necessary cookie-like storage entry (browser local storage) to remember your cookie consent choice, so we don't ask again on every visit. This is required for the consent mechanism itself to function.
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you consent to optional cookies used for analytics (see below). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
If you accept optional cookies, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC ("Google"), to understand how visitors use our site (e.g. pages visited, approximate location, device type). We enable IP anonymization, so your full IP address is not stored by Google on our behalf. This processing only happens after you click "Accept All" in the cookie banner — if you click "Decline" or take no action, Google Analytics is never loaded.
Data processed by Google Analytics may be transferred to and processed on servers outside Switzerland, including in the United States. You can find more information in Google's Privacy Policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, and to request deletion or restriction of processing, subject to legal exceptions.
